i agree with number of posts but 1 month it's long... i believe 2 weeks would be fair enough.

20 posts isn't so bad on such an big forum, easy guys. And the 1 month rule shouldn't be a problem, especially to me (look at my joining date ;)). I just forgot about this forum for 3 years but I promise it won't happen again. ;)

this will detour ppl that create accounts solely to ask for invites or just scam others into trading their accounts or whatever.I used to have an account with Filesharingplace.com back when it was within Kazaa Lite Resurrection, forgot my id or maybe it was deleted due to inactivity.Oh well keep up the good work guys.

Weeeeell Well Rules changes, and IRL too. So we'll just have to wait a little bit longer. I wanted to go in to sections I wasn't allowed (not Invites only) so I'm hoping for that sooooon :-)

No. From experience, we used to have far too many members that had no wish to contribute anything whatsoever to this board, but wanted to scam people out of invites.

The waiting period enables traders to see if the requests warrant any reply by reviewing your previous posts, and also asking you to contribute something to the board in return.

I know there's a lot of pages but if you read through you'll find the reason the rule exists with plenty of people agreeing with it.

I imagine the reason is so mods from private trackers can't just randomly browse the invite section to see who is trading what. I guess it would keep a lot of people from getting banned.

May I ask just what is the bittorrents invite section? I'm guessing it's links to bittorrent files??

It would have been nicer if the requirement went from 5 to 10 posts instead of 20, this will just add a lot of fluff posts to the forum and make the threads a pain to read through for good information.....just my $.02
