Miracles do happen (TV, PTM, PTN, FTN, ... drop from the sky from time to time)

damn, I been gone 2 days and I miss like 5 pages of this thread!!! lol. the Chief is here ya'll!! :batman: Seems like getting on FTN is basically just a luck type deal..like poker or lottery. You either know good friend(s) on there and eventually get invited, or you don't know anyone there and have to take a different approach. "It's all about who you know." Since user base there is not high, chances of knowing someone on the internet with an account there is slim, thats what I mean by luck above here. :P I've asked my good friends if any of them are there many moons ago, only had 1, and he was so young he never donated cuz he didnt have a credit card or bank account yet. I am to shy & afraid to ever post publicly a request. They never really happen, and the OP usually gets ripped multiple new assholes regardless of the OP's reason for requesting. LOL I get married this year in September to the woman of my dreams who i've been with for 6 years now. I want to make a secret online wedding registry with ftn on it hoping a friend gives me the gift in celebration of my marriage :D wow, I rambled. I usually don't get this personal on forums, but this is more of a chat thread with trusted & respected users and I got no shame in speaking whats on the Chief's mind! hehe :1eye:

Chief, I'm really happy for you. If you want an update on my personal life, all my friends know that I just got with the girl of my dreams. She's been on and off with her boyfriend over the past 4 years, and every time she broke off with him, she came to me, and I convinced her to stay with him till it ends, because I don't want to be in the "If I weren't with you... if I was still with him..." scenario. She finally broke off with him completely after he did some real stupid crap, and we'll see where it goes now. So, I guess in a way, we're both moving on to better things in life.

I'm so glad you're doing well and moving on with yer life, matey. Trust me, it's not hard to find FTN members, it's hard to find ones with invites. My brother was always a member, right from the start, and he got disabled for inactivity. Call it injustice, I call it an idiot with connections, and if an idiot can figure his way in, surely you can.

P.S. Yes, I don't get this personal on a public forum, either. Heck, mostly not even to people who I've never seen face to face, but I felt like sharing, and I'm in a good mood. :)
