[Review] Seedhost.eu

Ordered my dedicated box yesterday and im still waiting. :wacko:

Reading all post in this thread i can see that the only downside about Seedbox.eu is the long wait :lol:

I have ordered windows 2003 and this will be my first server.

I will want to use it for the following !

Download torrents

Unpacking files - renaming files - repacking files

Remote upload to rapidshare

I hope these things are easy to do/learn ! :happy:

When i log on with remote desktop will it be like sitting infront of a computer with a windows desktop as i know it ? :huh:

Yes the remote desktop is pretty much the same, you might get some lag when clicking, and typing.

I have had good experience with seedhost. I am using the 18 euro one. speeds are nice. download speed is always 10 MB/s or more, and if there are enough leechers, you can get about 9-10 MB/s upload consistently. But on ScT, I normally get about 2-3 MB/s for the first few hours on popular torrents. Already uploaded 1100 GB since 4th September.

Still waiting for my box...

I purchased my seed1 box about 6 hours ago and am still waiting, i put in a support ticket to ask them how long it would be, but havent had any responce as of yet

It took almost 48 hours but now i finaly got my dedicated server and all i can say is "Thumbs up for Seedbox" !!! :)

have to say, after initial issues (TL not having stats updated properly) they have been quick and willing to fix the issue. now on a different box, and working fine :) although they are a bit pricy

Can I ask everyone who has a seedbox or server from seedhost.eu to try and access demonoid's website? You don't have to download anything or even have an account there, just check if you can access it from vnc viewer or if you do prefer try and download a torrent from there.
My new seedbox from there can't access it at all and wondering if its just my seedbox or everyones. My old one could download from there just last week and now this one can't for some reason. Contacted admin and he said that it has to do with DNS problems and he can't do anything.
Reason why I want to access demonoid is because they have a couple of big comic packs that I want but they're painfully slow so I don't want my home computer to be on 24/7.

no it's problem with uT 1.8 and probably only on TL :D

either way, downgrade to 1.7.7 didn't fully fix the issue, new box seems to be running fine :)
