Sorry if this has already been asked but are you able to do this with a CD burner or is a DVD burner necessary?

Just to add, for ISO files it's faster and easier to:
Right click -> Open with -> Nero Burning ROM
and then just hit the burn button :D
Haven't had any problems burning image files in this way yet.

It seems your making it harder than it is. All you need is winrar and dvd decrypter. Download the ps2 game. Extract the image to your hard drive. Burn the image (.bin to cd-r, or .iso to dvd-r) using DVD Decrypter. DVD Decrypter can burn cd-r and dvd-r (can't read cd-rom though, only dvd-rom).

Can you use both DVDR- and DVDR+ when burning a CD ?
