Your love for Alan Moore is how I first heard of him. Definitely a master storyteller. We sure need all of the people who bring creativity and beauty (even dark thoughts have their own) into this often bland, painful world. I remember being disappointed during covid when so many people had free time and a bit of spare money to spend due to rent moratorium and stimulus checks. I had hoped that people would have been constructive with their time. Create art. Write. Plant a garden. Literally anything constructive to do instead of working. People just drank. Fucked. Spread germs and incredibly stupid ideas. My dreams of a human race free of 40+ hours taken from their lives for miniscule wages was dashed. People without purpose are incapable of finding something on a higher level (art, philosophy, writing, learning for the sake of learning, exploring self-guided interests).
All that to say, we need Moore.
