Does this mean it is a bad time to buy my life's fantasy - a suv or a hummer?

I've never seen a car come with a locking gas cap.

I'm thinking about getting one myself. The outer door locks but that's easy to pry open.

I remember talking to a fella about a month ago that had one with a combination on it.
