While I admit this movie just goes off the deep end at a certain point and lost my interest when it seemed like you needed to be stoned or something to watch the rest of it.

I think if you look at the film again with this in mind it will make a bit more sense.

The black guy and the fat italian white dude are in his head, alt personalities if you will.

Think about it, when they are just chilling in the hot tub and all those guys chase after him, when the one guy falls and kills himself with his own shotgun. Why don't they chase after the black guy and italian guy?

In the elevator when he's tripping out and he starts talking like the black guy.

Also, at the end when he is in the casino, the black guys says that they are him.

They never really poisoned him, think about that one, when did they ever give him any kind of antidote? Never, he just says to him "It's been three days since you've been with us, and you're still living."

7 years in solitary will do that to a person you know. The guy is fucking crazy man. Just like the dude he is messing with and gets to kill himself at the end.

This movie goes from you have to pay attention and follow the clues, to just trying to mess with your mind. It wasn't very good IMHO. I really didn't see the point to it all in the end.
