A big point here is that it depends what country you live in - different countries have different laws.

ok, my theory is a simple one:

"For every week that you download, buy a lottery ticket."

Now compare the probabilities of
1. getting busted
2. winning the lottery

I personally quite fancy the chances of 2, relative to 1.

The moral is, if you're gonna be busted, you'd probably have already won the lottery, so you won't give a damn. :P
