Severe difference. There is no perhaps. There are some things that can be fixed with almost no effect on another's posting ability like not having 5 threads on the same subject on the first page in the wrong section...you know stuff like that is irritating and fixing it has little effect on the poster unless it was that warmspecialfeelingofgettinganawardfortheirveryownthreadtocalltheirown.

I've seen you bump your own thread from months before if someone starts a new one on the same topic. Linking to your own thread (another of your favourites) only encourages someone to go and bump that as well. Seems to me, that you're the one who wants that "warmspecialfeelingofgettinganawardfortheirveryownthreadtocalltheirown".
