I think so, yes, but starting my Xmas present campaigning around August usually helps too.

Mp3 player,gift certificates,crate of beer,pen set,hangover cure set(painkillers,hair of the dog,orange juice,dark glasses,coffee),car care set(sponge, chamois,wax,deicer,car shampoo,bucket)mobile phone emergency kit(battery that fits all mobiles),one of them little compressors that fit in the cigarette lighter to inflate tyres.

Alcohol or gift certificates is what I would have said.
