It still seems incongruous.

I can see the point re selling eggs compared to sellling sperm. That's a self evident analogy. However I can't see the relevance of the menstruation / donation thing. I think the difference is apparent.

This whole thing is rather stupid.

I'd like to know what is morally wrong with selling something on your person that wil die anyway.
