Sorry mate, all I can think of is it appearing in music videos and even then I only have nebulous images. I take it you are looking for feature films.

I think they have used the same sort of effect in Scrubs, also I've seen it in lots of adverts but I'd prefer a film to compare it to.

What about comparing it to the effects like those where we see fruit rotting, but over a few minutes. Or maggots eating a corpse. I think that's "stop motion" they use for that.
