It shouldn't be just steroids but performance enhancers....right?

Oh and your decree is too late.

Surely the aim is to score home runs. That's what the spectators want to see.

So equip every batter with laser sights, self correcting bats, and any other technological gizmo you can think of, and there can be home runs with every hit. That way everyone's happy.

That way, there's no need for drugs of any sort, and no need for anyone to stop taking them either. They can go up to the plate stoned out of their minds and still make a perfect hit.
