Do you mind if I edit my main post to include the fact that I could give these invite offers? I could say someone offered me these specific invites to trade if I could obtain a BitMeTv invite.

I've seen some people recommend asking for invites in the IRC channels for both Bitme and BitmeTV. However, isn't invite requesting not allowed in any of their channels?

Yeah, it's not allowed but you can subtly manipulate the people there to give you an invite :P
