yes i have been a soldier!
1. conscription was the damn reason.
2. i expected it to be a waste of time, but at the same time to be a little fun. something you can always talk about with your friends in a bar years later. It was so.
3. i had no real choice... i know if you REALLY don't want to do it, it's not that hard to get off. but i wanted to see how it was. i do not regret my time serving my King. (the King of Sweden i might add)
Too cool man!
I love swedish women.
They have'nt drafted anyone into the service here in the states since the 1970's.
It's an all volunteer military.
Kab
you sound like a good guy and I've noticed you've escaped the liberal lie!
Hey man good luck in high school!
I wish I was finishing my freshman year :(
thanks :lol:Quote:

Are you still in the Navy?
-Or-
What did you do after you served?
I decided after my commitment was up that it was'nt for me.
I came back home and got a job.
I've been out of the navy for quite a while.
i'm thinking about joining the Army to be a Royal Engineer because i can't be bothered to go through university to get qualifications, also theres the government pay
Note: i'm prone to making bad decisions
kAb I have not used it yet, you have ten years from your seperation date to use it but have been considering using it here lately to further my education. That is another good thing about the military they will pay alot of your cost for education. Sorry it took so long to respond my modem has been down for a couple of days. :beerchug:
