any way forget windows washer just get this file it puts a can on the desktop for dragging and dropping, bleaches everything and will wash all the free space on your hard drive for extra security

I know Tweak UI for Win98 has options to clear your History and some other stuff (but not your cookies) whenever you shut down. Not sure about the XP version though, but here's the link for it (it's free, and it's not spyware or adware so there aren't any pop-ups)...
