Is it not the case that 10% of hard drive capacity should be free for defragmenting?

Time to get a promise card. i have only had the computer for 4 months :>

just got me a pci ide controller card to add a new hdd, all i need now is a new hdd, the power extenders and the bracket extender to connect to the origenal bracket to house me new hdd no room left in the old ones after i put my zip drive in.
