I don't like seeing all asylum seekers tarred with the same brush -
a lot around my area have all came from iraq and Afghanistan (they're here cause we bombed their homes and families....ooopsie!) and most are working, scraping a living and learning English.
So good for those guys!
I know there are a lot of bogus asylum seekers tho, and they give the rest a really bad name. My dad hates all of them - when he sees one he gives the whole "back to Russia!" rant (any Eddie Izzard fans will like that quote!).
I feel that we should help genuine ones, but then the question arises - how do we find the ones in real trouble?
