Xbox 360 Elite officially announced

Nearly half a grand is way too much for a console, hasn't anyone learned anything from Sony?

i dont understand it
is the hd-dvd drive included in the elite pack ?
if it does damn its pretty good deal !

Oh, I meant media files, I knew that saves and XBL downloads wouldn't work only because they have to be on your original drive, I think.

The Elite looks sick...but I already got a 20gb Premium. I wonder if I could eventually buy the 120gb Harddrive and transfer my stuff over (including downloaded games) and if it'll work? I'll definitely be getting some Black xbox360 controllers soon though. HDMI doesn't seem necessary this gen....

the only fact why i never bought a x360 is that the xbox havent a hdmi out.
The elite looks better, has a bigger Hdd and a hdmi out.
so i really think about to buy one

HDMI looks better than component but it is a minimal picture difference.

I remember changing my cable TV from component to HDMI and was very satisfied.
