Before this can be done the Rebels destroy all but a few of the Syndicate as well as Cassandra Spender, the only living successful Alien-Human Hybrid. They do this so as to delay the invasion.

They all started out pwnvincible, but then they turned all ghey.

The Borg did it when Picard pwned them by sending Hugh back, and then, later, they couldn't catch Janeway for several seasons, I mean, wtf, come on, it was Janeway.

And the others went all ghey when they tried disguising like people and all that crap. They just wanted peace in the end - pussies.

When you create such an orsum species as the Borg, you quickly realise that they can never be beaten, so you end up having to write a bogus script so that you do eventually beat them and satisfy the American psyche so that good will always prevail in the end.

In my version, the Borg pwn all, and become rulers of the pwniverse.
