Out-of-This-World Hypothesis: Cosmic Forces Control Life on Earth

Cosmic Forces do control life to a certain degree.
The sun controls my burned flesh. Solar flares interrupt satellites. The moon controls tidal pull. Sunlight makes photosynthesis possible. The sun tells the cock to go ur a ur a urrrrrr. But I certainly dont think planet alignment has anything to do with whether or not my car will start. Or whether or not Im gonna get that big promotion. We are always looking for some other reason why this is that or that is this. How about Im responsible for me and that is it?
