If thats true I would really consider switching to roadrunner, 7mbit in my area but only 500kbit upload, while i got 3mbit 765kbit right now with verizon. So newsgroups would be much nicer, but uploading would be worse.Quote:

I don't know how long the RR retention is, but I doubt it is longer than a paid usenet server. Therefore, if you're looking for stuff that was uploaded a couple of weeks back, you might not be able to find it.
