Personally, I don't like the smell.

If you will concede that it still smells like "poop", I will suggest this is most likely because it's made of shit.

On the other hand, it may be that it is "nincompoop"; this can be confirmed by retrieving a sample (along with a half-liter or so of the toilet-water) for analysis and comparison with your DNA.

This will cost a few bucks, but might shed some light on the matter.
