The Steam version had the same 2 installs problem but Steam have been sensible and fixed that now. I might buy mine off Steam now . . .Quote:

Had some validation issues, then re-checked the game files and it started downloading again at 80% complete, then another update, to DX9 tonight via Steam as well.... but anyway it's working now, and I must say it's worth it....
