Very nice tip! Uses up almost the same resources as utorrent without the WINE. I'll be using this for now.
Re: Best BT client for Linux
i have the wine+utorrent aswell but i want to use RSS, what should i do?
can i use torrentflux for rss or something? whats the best way ?
Re: Best BT client for Linux
I used ktorrent and liked it :)
Re: Best BT client for Linux
ive tried azureus, rtorrent and utorrent+wine and all worked well.
for my home ubuntu system i am using utorrent+wine but on my seedbox i plan on using rtorrent+libtorrent.
Re: Best BT client for Linux
i don't recommend azureus at all on linux, i had some major memory leaks problem running it on my server and it just takes too much ressource anyway
i tried all of them except deluge, i'll give it a try

Many CLI RSS readers out there. It's possible to have the torrents downloaded to a particular directory and have rTorrent watch and automatically import new torrents from the directory.

If those are the best, how come you're not using them?
Because they are not allowed everywhere.....
PS : And because of the WebUI of course. ;)
