He means that he will give you credits which you'll need to start downloading..
i believe you need upload credits to start downloading from TvT...thats why when he invites you, you will get some credits to start off with, without the need to wait to download something..
Sorry... but the problem is, i already signed up...
Im pretty sure he can still give you credits if you give him your username.
