How fast should my upload be with a 640 kb/s connection not being throttled?

my upload is 40kbs is this to low? my speed is 2400/635

maybe one could add:

use the reduced settings only when you work with your computer or dl.

when you are just seeding you can give full speed.

that's at least how i do it.

To calculate the real speed you have to divide by 8.
