Well it doesnt affect it directly, but indirectly. Seeing as you will be able to communicate with a lower ammount of peers, which therefore leads to lower speeds.
But this does NOT equal that you will not be able to max out your connection with no port forwarding, anyone claiming so is full of BS! :-)
Opening ports dont have anything with speed up or down, it just mean that u are connectabe with the tracker and to users..but if u dont open ports u cant be connectable and u cant get full upload or download speed what u have..Quote:
