Right now, I'm downloading Simon Schama's "The History of Britain," which is 15 discs. I've posted 16 out of 25 episodes of "The World at War" in the Verified in a can section. Also, you might want to check out the Ken Burns series: "The Civil War" (9 disc of U.S. history) and Carl Sagan's "Cosmos," which I think is XIII episodes.
I'm looking for WW2 documentaries, especially rare - preferably from/about
the German side /Waffen SS in particular/, chronicle images etc.
Anyone could help?

I'm not sure if you would class it strictly as a documentary, but there is a really good tv series called Great Crimes and Trials of the 20th Century.
There is a GREAT documentary on the bush election fraud called Unprecedented
It really shows how george should not even be president right now.
Bowling for Columbine is great, as it won an Oscar.
There is another documentary on Homeless kids called Gutter Punks that was somewhat interesting.
