All three of us were saying "omg wtf" and about to make a scene right there in the restaurant. Turns out, the guy is the manager of the restaurant, is off duty and obviously shnaukered. He tells us about 50 times (no kidding) that he was only joking and never would have drank it had he known he was going to have to buy one to replace it.

He replaced the shot and bought us another round "on the house" to make up for it.

That was brill i ant up until the part where you didn't beat that man in question with a nailed club.

The audience would have been better satisfied and my kids could sleep easy tonight.
