Actually, it's probably a SiliconImage RAID controller not a Gigabyte but meh, who cares?
Anyway, how many drives do you have and are they all in an array?

3 drives 2 in array (RAID 0). kinda gayed myself out on the hdd's. shoulda went raptor. meh, future upgrade.

Personally, these days I think Raptors are overrated.
If only two of the drives are RAIDed, why did you need both controllers activated?
