I have a good friend who&#39;s sober. One of his sayings (he&#39;s got a lot) is: "I have no problem today that a drink or a drug won&#39;t make worse." Good luck & keep the faith. God bless. :)

Let me get this right, you are a 16 year old alcoholic, who left home a couple of years ago.

Your see your parents occasionally, but they are no real part of your life.

You work to get enough money to live and to fund your alcoholism / smoking. Indeed you go on binges. Presumably you also pay rent, buy food, clothes etc.

You use an ID you picked up in the East Village as proof of identity when you are buying the alcohol.

You also have enough money left to allow you regular access to the internet.

Could you please tell me where you live, not exactly obviously, just the city. I am absolutely astounded and like Hobbes find your life story surreal. You really do have to get the alcoholism thing sorted out or you will not see 17.
