Bob Dylan is easily the more influential.
Both are great artist.
I choose Eric Clapton coz he is the best with guittar.

I can't stand Dylan's voice. I say Clapton. He's good at guitar.
Tough decision for me. But since I'm from Minnesota I will go with Dylan.

One of the toughest polls ever, i chose Clapton after some minutes of thinking. Can't really tell you why, it's just the way of my heart :)
Both are great artists and musicians. But after watching Crossroads Guitar Festivals from the latest few years a once again fell in love with the way Clapton plays his guitar. Big ups to both men.
the guitar solo towards the end of layla (unplugged) is one of the best pieces ever written
Dylan. Compared at their peaks of 60s up to mid 70s and parts of the resurgence in the 90s, Dylan ousts Clapton imo, although Clapton has a number of more memorable amazing tracks.
