Mhm. Does ist contain any special characters?

BTW: My fellow developer is currently re-implementing all the search stuff anyway. You will then be able to search from the UI and search multiple hosts at once..

No special charachters in the file name nor the path.

2 more thoughts...

It would be nice if the user could change the listening port. Also, use how often does p300 re-index, or does it? It would be nice if it checked for updates every few hours, but the console output shows the initial indexing done yesterday.

Open your webinterface and there configuration. It should re-index every day. You can change that :)

Folks, I have released version 685 which hopefully resolves the problems some people were having

this has actually been a very useful program. I use it when windows flakey file sharing can't see local computers. Thanks for the hard work :)
