Oh god. I had the exact problem a while back and couldn't get the pipes out to clear them so had to use industrial strength sink unblocker which worked brilliantly.
Slap him silly mate.
Been in enough fights to know when to raise my fists.

Yes I know that. However it depends on your sink being fitted with the right pipes and the threads on the joints not being fucked.
