nope, that isnt 1gbit but sometimes on 100mbits u can get 17mb/s or more :P

my max speed was on hosting-ie but it was a shared box

DL - 9mb/s
UP - 7mb/s

I've seen 17 mb/s on a 100 mbit and up to 50-60 mb/s on a 1 gbit (lan speeds at a datacenter).
