I guess it's using an ftp built into the win server? is there anyway to edit any of the settings on the server.. make it go to a default folder when it logs in?
I tried the same settings on ws_ftp and got an error (it's my default ftp I use it for my website hosting as well so i'd prefer to use it instead of filezilla)

Not with sftp i dont think there is.
But if ur using windows just install serv-u.
Very easy and has a setup wizzard,then u can choose witch folder u arrive at when u connect with ur chosen ftp client.

I installed serv-u but I can't get it to work with that either.
whenever I connect to port 21 with serv-u or filezilla closed it still starts to connect.. so I think there's something already setup for ftp connections on the kimsufi server that I need to disable to make other ftp servers work.. but i'm not positive.

mm there shouldnt be anything pre installed if its windows.
