why not just partition your larger hdd into a 100gig drive, then the rest for windows, or whatever u want as windows size.

i read in another that is better to have two different hdd, i edit videos and i'm having problems because i have them in the same hdd and i woul like to use my 120 just for video editing.
have u not even got an old computer lying about or anything, on my other pc i got a 4gig windows drive and a 80gb for all my stuff.
but on my laptop just got the one drive, partitioned into 2. so i dont lose anything when i format
i had one but my father took it to built a pc. and my sister has an old pc but i don't think she would give it to me.
or u could ask ur mates if there thinking of buying a new drive, and u buy the old one, thus putting money toward there new one.
i need it for tomorrow. i have to turn some work, and because of the prblems i'm having i can't finished. :angry:
