Seedx and Seedlayer are gone ie shutdown. SeedX wasn't bad but SeedLayer was complete garbage :lol:
i see, RPS isnt bad but once you add an normal amount of HDD your in for paying 3-4 times the price of a shared box.
Yea, it's quite the downside if you want to get some big stuff like ISO etc. Unlimited torrents and no sharing speeds sold me tho :happy:

I've just hit the 1TB now after a week of being a customer there. I did 10mb/s on BitHQ although it was brief.
RAM isn't too bad, I only use half of it according to Ubuntu task manager.

Re: Am Wondering if anyone is familiar with these:
Just a warning tho, make sure to compile wine yourself (if you plan on using utorrent). When I did apt-get from their repository it gave me a version of wine that has a critical utorrent bug which would disconnect peers if you seeded to them faster than around 1MB/s. It was hard to cap out speeds because of this. If I would have known this the first couple days I would have uploaded a lot more than 1TB :P

thanks.
i just used the guide which says:
# wget http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/387EE263.gpg
# apt-key add 387EE263.gpg
# wget http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/...t.d/hardy.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/winehq.list
@WEEDEN:
im pretty sure RPS is in fact root axx
will that work right?
