unfortunately http://appulo.us/appdb/ is down as of now

IMO appulo.us and a few good forums and blogs are your best bet for iPhone apps just because they are not that large and fairly easy to find.

I never said they were. However, the vast majority or apps can be found in the App Store or in the large array that is the Cydia repos.

I have no idea why it would be "obvious" you wouldn't want to use the App Store. :huh:
