Do you have another install cd to try maybe its fubared ? I'v had luck running FDisk then formatting using a Bart Disk type of disk utility then try to install XP .

SOLVED! I plugged the old video card in, and I knew it would only last around 20 mins before over heating and shutting down so I held a fan to it and installed XP. After installing XP, I installed all drivers and then replaced the 9800 with the 7500 and installed the drivers.
Ok ... That doesn't make a lot of sense but glad you got it sorted.
