The little girl cursing like a sailor is so wrong and so funny.
I have high hopes for this one.
Very hilarious and full of all the funny elements.

Just saw it today.
Spoiler: ShowAll the best scenes are in the trailer.
I hate when that happens.
Moderately entertaining.
The cutting/editing of the action scenes is atrocious.
Darker than I expected and not as funny as I'd hoped.
Characters inexplicably alter to fit the storyline.
There will be a sequel.
It was....OK.
americans have odd tastes
Yeah having previously never known anything about Kick-Ass the trailers and the promotion do lead people to believe that it's going to be pretty much a comedy.Even after reading the comics I thought "shit the producers must have just decided to take another route and play up the comedic aspects to make the movie more viewer friendly".
Sadly although they have altered a few key aspects of the comics (notably the ending) ,they really seem to have missed the boat on what was "good" about the books (like the ending and)and simply played to the lowest ,drooling common denominator.Spoiler: Showthe fact he never got the girl
Or maybe I'm totally wrong and what is perceived as being funny these days ( like Seth Rogan's character in Observe and Protect - there is no winking at the camera from that psychopath -there is no disconnect so you can never laugh at the character for the dolt he is.He is just a dangerous person out of touch with reality more William Foster or Travis Bickell than Inspector Closeau )
Anyway as far as Kick-Ass goes it is very much like most movies I see now-a-days - potentially something good but the people in control don't have the talent( or simply don't care enough ) to bring it to life.
Sorry for citing examples but Hurt Locker is a pretty simply story with zero star power and no cgi but there you can see what talent and commitment can create.
