If they fire you, you can make an excuse why you couldn't turn up to the job, but of course, you cannot tell them the truth, cause they won't believe you. <_<

Here's what they'd accept as the truth: I couldn't come to the job, cause my Grandma died. Oh god, why, why? Why her? I loved her so much. Oh god, take me, take me. But, of course, you must manage it to cry to enhance the effect. When you get to the first Oh god, fall on your knees and start to cry. ;)
