Re: Should a scene tracker allow P2P releases?
I already mentioned my opinion in both tracker's cases going through this argument. People that enjoy scene file integrity shouldn't seek a p2p network to achieve their ends, and people who joined a scene tracker with full knowledge of the content to expect shouldn't be so intent as to change it around.
P2P content and Scene content are arguably favored in and for different categories, but trying to make ends meet in the end-all be-all culmination tracker of content is silly. I understand the whole "it's my home" dream, but logically it should never be. On the other hand, offering content that isn't absolute race-winning crap is never a bad thing.

They probably get snuck into the Packs/Archive section and no one would really care there.

Agreed.
As for the tracker that this thread refers to, it's better to be great in one thing than to be average in both.

I'm a member of FTN for 1 year, and you know, I never thought it is great Scene tracker. It is not average either, just good, nothing more (packs are different story). P2P section is not gonna drag and eventually kill FTN, don't you think so? The only thing I'm afraid of is whether the p2p releases are gonna appear in the main browse page or they are gonn be placed in separate page/category.
Re: Should a scene tracker allow P2P releases?
Whats the big deal? They add p2p,get more quality releases and become not a scene only tracker.Isint "Community" that's 1st priority of FTN anyway.
Re: Should a scene tracker allow P2P releases?
jeah in FTN, its definitely 'community'
Re: Should a scene tracker allow P2P releases?
If only this thread had been started in 2006.
Re: Should a scene tracker allow P2P releases?
I just read the entire thread there and it made me realize why I don't make it habit of reading threads there.Seriously full of yourself much?
"As long as it's a separate category and only contains HD" .Like most of you twats would know a good movie if it fell off a truck and hit you in the face anyway.
Fuck ,fuck ,fuck and fuck.
And no I'm not going to comment there because it would be like Martin Luther King Jr. trying to tell a bunch of white supremacists that they might be misinformed.
