Just saying that some people  take the internet way too seriously. These guys just take their site's privacy and securacy a little more seriously than most.
I don't know why your being sarcastic, but the internet is full of all sorts of people and some of them are crazy pricks who will do bad shit to people. Not saying it happens to everyone who posts about them, just to some. Not sure why it is a surprise to some here, there are trackers and trackers forums like that too.
Re: The history of and everything around WDMA
If they can't hurt my old granny, then I'm oke! :D

Re: The history of and everything around WDMA
I'm really scared of them, after what I've read.
If I mention their site or leak their screens, will I have to check the car's engine everyday for bombs?
Those boys are really badass! Oh my God (OMG!).

As I understand it:
-It was a forum based filesharing system for the goons at SA, created after the BT Barnyard forum there was shut down.
-At one point it had changed domains to hpj.cc
-Currently there are supposedly remnants of the community at already.be... I've yet to see any proof of that.
-The sysop (not exactly sysop... creator, whatever) was a VIP at the former FTWR, and *supposedly* WDMA members had a secret subforum there.
-None of this shit matters, as it's definitely dwindled to a shitty community with nothing a large tracker couldn't offer you.
- HPJ.cc is dead or it has moved to a new url.
- Already.be is still alive and there could possibly be invites floating around (i have heard)
- There are at least a handful of wdma sites that still exist, that predate torrent sites. The only thing glimpse most of us will ever get of them is of their login pages.
- Who's said their community has dwindled down? Unless any of us are members we would never know for sure. And we won't know because these sites do an extremely good job of keeping people quiet. Shit we've all seen reviews of ftwr, uk-t, *sc, heck even that candy tracker, but has there ever been even a screenshot floating around from one these wdma sites.
- It's very possible a person could survive without trackers and get all the files they would ever need just by being a part of these amazing communities. I know of one such place, and rumor is there could be another that ends with pile.org. Although I'm not a member, even I'm afraid to mention their URL or anything I've read about them.
If you hear a site is dead, doesn't exist, or is just a shitty place don't be so quick to believe it. It's a common misinformation tatic used by some overzealous members to keep the noobs from seeking out invites to their sites. And when any legit info does come out, like on wiki, they are quick to take it down and sometimes hack the shit out the idiot who put it up. They can also get people's personal information and cause real life drama for them. I've personally seen what one place does to anyone who leaks their links and it ain't always pretty.
If any of that is true then I don't know why anyone would want to be a member or have anything to do with such a bunch of low-lifes.
"Amazing communities " btw in RL at least ,which is as far as I know the only " L " that still matters , don't operate on fear and deal in retribution .
Furthermore as for the "alleged " internet goon tough guy" tactics ( sorry if I fail to totally believe anything ever written here) real toughness/strength is only truly demonstrated in what you can withstand and not what you can dish-out.
So basically what I am saying is your (alleged ) "wonderful communities " consist of little better than a bunch of easily controlled idiots and sycophants lead by the the internet equivalent of the Securitate or DINA .
A truly ringing endorsement .
But you can steal all the files you want.
Cool.:dabs:

What a cool word... is it an amalgamation of security and secrecy? I don't even know if you meant it, but it's now gonna be my word of the moment... :D

I didn't notice that. My guess goes towards a portmanteau of "security" and "privacy".
