Right.
On the other side, they'd also have trouble growing if users only invited people they absolutely know and trust.

OP - you've already been picked up on TBH radar. You should turn on your stealth technology at this point..
bijoy i don't think so, i don't see direct rule about public GAs on every thacker i'm member of, and on some even indirect. Right now i checked kg for example
As anon said, there would be very few peers on trackers if everyone invited only friends, so don't say silly things please when it's completely unnecessary
On a side note it's encouraging that whenever a tracker magnanimously decides to open applications or what ever they did , the invites go as intended to decent people.

Who cares if the tbh guys will be looking to punish you for offering someone a chance to join their site, one that lacks in activity and at the same time those very same traders they don't want in, are already all over the place.
At least a giveaway here will certainly go much more filtered by our regulars than those invites they give to their own members, mostly where the "problem" lies. See trade's sections at several boards.
If they manage to discover you and decide to take action, certainly won't speak much about their intelligence. And they will probably lose a potentially good member, and instead care about the ones they already have, which were a significant part of the demise of the former CN.
