This mechanism would only be need to modified minimally to offer search functionality. Complete RSS, no filter, stored privately and search with any aggregator.

Thats been around long before gazelle.
I use similiar code to prevent some common open signup checkers from working on my site..
If you like that check this code sometime ;)
Makes the user download a 50mb file from the site that hosts the tracker checker script every time they get to my site in their list of sites to check. Not to mention it never really checks my site LOL I been using this script for a couple of years and it only costs the originators their bandwidth on the file people download every time :)
There also one that sends you to a broken youtube click as well for your enjoyment.
Re: Torrent Search Engine for Private Trackers?
I remember that YouTube video. It was "people getting owned hard" or something similar.
Why did you block open registration checkers, by the way? Server resource concerns?
Re: Torrent Search Engine for Private Trackers?
To make people check the hard way... It still uses the same amount of resources either way really.
Since technically the site doesn't use additional resources till you submit the form.
Yeah... I had a few differant youtube ones. One was the rickroll clip, another was and owned clip... there were a few others as well. Depends where you were coming from really. :)
Re: Torrent Search Engine for Private Trackers?
there is lot of site like this just google it
Re: Torrent Search Engine for Private Trackers?
yah, forget it guys. Public one is www.torrentz.eu or something
Re: Torrent Search Engine for Private Trackers?
One thing about mininova/btjunkie etc, its great free advertising if you upload nulled torrents to them, and open up.
when you just open up you just get the same crap in time and time again (those that know of the tracker, and have been members before)
Using BTjunkie etc, brings a lot more noobs in, but tbh they are better members for the most part.

http://btjunkie.org
Those torrents are with stolen passkeys & most likely to get banned from respective trackers/sites.
