I downloaded Half-Life and Max Payne 1 and 2

they already postponed the date 3rice, development issues are there . might touch x-mas 2012 :| dont keep high hopes

I think that this is already useless...I lost my hopes in sequels like Max Payne,Dungeon Siege or other games after Duke Nukem...

Try Max Payne 2 before giving up on the franchise, the gameplay was dramatically improved when they switched engines. I'm gonna guess you didn't like Max Payne 1 because it is dated, well Diablo is even more dated and hard to get into.

I dunno isn't it from 1996 or something? The graphics are pretty terrible, it's two dimesional, and the interface isn't very intuitive. And then when you compare it to Diablo 2 I don't really see much reason to play it other than nostalgia. I'd say just watch the crazy ending on youtube if you want the story. It was great for its time but I'm skeptical the monotony will hold the attention of someone who doesn't see Max Payne as interesting. :/

I read somewhere that Max Payne revolutionized the third-person shooter genre. Well, maybe it was indeed revolutionary for the year 2001, but I don't see anything revolutionary in it now, in the year 2011... But I will continue playing it, and maybe it will grow on me. Speaking of Diablo, I still don't know what to do in the game. I started the game, saw a knight on my monitor, and I made him speak to few people that were nearby. But I don't know yet what else to do in the game. I guess I'll try to find out...
And according to amazon.com, Max Payne 3 will be released on December 1, 2011.
