I make animations, and the raw ouput that you get originally can be over 100 gigs, for full lentgh, ( as in 2+ hours) but yes it could be straining...

I don't think you really reach the peak HDD bandwidth doing that. Your CPU would be too busy to devote power to tranfer at those peaks.Quote:

Your motherboard supports serial ata 150! You don't need an ATA card, go for something like this:Quote:
