People who don't "get it" and think that they do...erm that might be the greatest sadness in the world.
Probably being irrational is the greatest evil because then you go and do stupid things.

Arms the greatest evil in the world. :)
I agree with JONNO & Faceman (not about Bush though, because i dont know the guy), i would like however to add MONEY.
In my opinion it is evil in the fact it can be used in so many contradicting ways. It is a power that is used by people who have it against people who dont. It is used to buy political power. Greedy people use money to influence and coerce others.
It obviously has good points as well, without it you cant eat or have shelter, or travel this great world of ours. But the mere fact you HAVE to have it, makes it evil.
Those are my views.

personally, i think one of the greatest evils in the world today is religion. by that i don't mean all religion, just when it is used as an reason (excuse more like  ) to kill, maim, and inspire hatred towards others.
all over the world religious differences cause trouble, and this includes religious bigotry, as JP mentioned. (well, the bigotry part at least)
Probably the same as it has always been - indifference. Whilst illness and accident always lurk in the shadows the rest is in our own hands, should we care to exercise a little altruism.
I agree.Quote:

To bad I am as apathetic as the rest of you.
We could probaly do something about the things were posting about
but hey.........Lets go check out the most poular thread. ;)
I think Carrot Top is the purest evil known to mankind by the way.
Peace brotherdoobie
It's difficult to tell. Apathy, money, bigotry, and the agenda of George Bush Jr. certainly are troubles, and quite a few of the things "wrong" with the world today can be traced back to at least the first three.
About people who can't afford to have children, I suppose not having sex hasn't crossed their minds. Granted, this isn't entirely feasible in many Second and Third World nations due to various cultural differences, but in most First World nations it is.

I am always a bit flattered to let the great mind of Biggles appear on my thread.Quote:

I always read your threads hobbes. Unfortunately if they're posted in the Lounge, by the time I get to them they've usually been hijacked.
